Vintage 70s maxi dress by Mary Quant, current UK 8/10. GB made in seersucker type cotton, multi tiers to skirt with bright pink, green and turquoise overstitching. Wide neckline with split and overstitched ties, grown on sleeves again overstitched. Frilled overstitched neck, split back (neck to waist) hook&eye fastening top and bottom. Defined under bust with frill, overstitched ties. Unlined. Bust measures to 66cm/10, length 138cm.
oh my, this is a stunner… such a simple dress elevated by the use of overstitching. Beach to bar, garden party, summer lounging…
No issues, black might be slightly less ‘black’, some super faint ‘spots’ but I’m being picky…please note this item has not been laundered and is in excellent vintage condition.
